Bruce Kalish to be at NYCC?

Rangernews brought up earlier in the month that the new live action series, Aaron Stone, will premiere in two parts at the New York Comic Con next month. There is a rumor floating around that Bruce Kalish, who was the Executive Producer of SPD, will be at the convention. They picked up on an article of which the following is included:

And once the gamers are aware of this new cable series, it’s time to target the geeks. Which is why the cast & creative team behind “Aaron Stone” will be traveling to the Big Apple that weekend. Where — as part of the third annual New York Comic Con (which is being held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center February 6 – 8) — they’ll be screening the “Aaron Stone” pilot on Sunday afternoon and then doing a meet-and-greet session with conventioneers afterwards.

Note: Which is why the cast & creative team behind “Aaron Stone” will be traveling to the Big Apple that weekend.” – Kalish is the producer of Aaron Stone. So this rumor could have been confirmed through the linked article. We’re not confirming this – just raising a few points. The rest of the team could show up, he could not. Keep it here for a confirmation later, if any.

Will RPM be the end of the series?

Many fans are expecting great things from R.P.M, but others are asking if this will indeed be the last installment of Power Rangers. It is hard to tell. Depending on the sucess I suppose this season and if there are any more possible ideas for yet another season next year. Everything has been done already. Each series follows basically the same storyline – five (or three) young people get powers to be defend their planet against evil. I realize that there’s more to each storyline now, but I’m speaking in general. How long can such a plot go on?

Is Jack Olesker really on RangerBoard?

January 28, 2009 Ranger Blogger Leave a comment

As many of you know Jack Olesker is the writer of the “series bible” of MMPR for Haim Saban. A post came up a couple of days ago from a person claming to be him, but some are skeptical. Olesker has worked on the creation of other television episodes such as The New Adventures of He-Man, Super Mario Bros., and TMNT. If the opener is really Olesker, welcome to RangerBoard. :)

Something new for PRE

Dai Shi realized something about Power Rangers Empire and the fandom in general: it’s dying. There’s really only a good amount of discussion happening at RangerBoard and Henshin Justice Unlimited (I apologize if I forgot any sites, odds are I’m not familiar with them or their forum). So what’s happening… there’s a new site in the works. No word on what exactly it will be, only some hints.
