Disney remasters MMPR, New Toys on the way!

The 1993 series will return to television on ABC Kids in January 2010. Bandai will be releasing a new line of toys to coincide with the return (toy advertisement here).

New MMPR episodes canned

No new episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will be aired on television… ever! Maybe we already figured this out after 15 years or so, haven’t we? Hopefully! Source: New York Post

Interviews with season one villains

Actors interviewed include Barbara Goodson (Rita Ripulsa), Dave Mallow (voiced several roles in MMPR, Zeo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Wild Force), and finally Kerrigan Mahan (Goldar and Magna Defender).

Mallow also voiced roles in the VR Troopers series.

Commentary: can the Magna Defender really be called a villain? Though it seemed so throughout most of his time in Lost Galaxy, in the end he was not of the villains.

Ernie passes away

“Ernie” (Richard Michael) passed away on December 30, 2008 due to a heart attack. Ernie is best known for staffing the Juice Bar in Angel Grove during MMPR. He was born on October 12, 1961. Rest In Peace Richard! Source: KCJ506 (RangerCast post) via Instant Riverside

What’s so special about Adam anyway?

Why do fans love Adam Park (Johnny Young Bosch) so much? Apparently a large amount of fans see something in Adam that we do not.. Not saying we had not like Adam, but we saw him like any other ranger/actor. I feel awkward now so to prevent anyone from jumping on our case hit the link below to jump into the discussion.
